“ My go to for quesabirria! Their street and specialty tacos are always great too. I always take some of their cilantro crema home with me and make quesadillas to dip it in. Theirs are tasty but I need a little more filling for the price. But I always recommend cuchos to everyone. The Mauldin location bring open is awesome for those of us down that way. Go to Conestee Nature Preserve and then hit up Cuchos for lunch or dinner after! ”
“ My first time to dine at Cucho's, week of 9-Sept-2024, was a total surprise. Firstly their taco prices, even the specialty ones, are so reasonable, less than $4.00. I had the Pastor Taco, very tasty, meat seasoned well, but the pineapple chuck was not edible.. it was just a wedge of the core. Would have been better if of the meatier part. I also had their Volcano Taco with Chorizo served on a thick, handmade, deep-fried tortilla, perhaps the best taco that I have a had anywhere in Greenville County. Free salsa bar included, with about a dozen selections. My favorite, which I put on top of the Volcano Taco is the Taguera Salsa. Amazing!. Service was very friendly throughout. I will definitely eat there again... on West Butler Road, Mauldin, SC. ”

“ Solid four stars. Had the veggie bowl featuring grilled Cajun cauliflower. Tasty, large and hearty, it was a good value at about ten bucks; I couldn't finish it. Enjoyed the free salsa bar. The Salsa Taquera was great, with a nice smoky flavor; the Spicy Dynamite was just right - significant heat but a couple notches shy of painful. The Chipotle Zest Sauce worked perfectly with my bowl; as for the Roasted Poblano Ranch, I applaud the idea, but the poblano flavor was weak to absent. The interior space is bright and welcoming. The restroom was clean but could use seat covers. The menu was moderately vegetarian-friendly; with a vegetarian protein like meatless chorizo available, this place would earn five overall stars. Service couldn't have been any friendlier or efficient. Easy five stars here. ”
“ Oh my gosh this place is amazing!!! I could not be more thrilled that they replaced the old, gross Pizza Hut. This place is immaculate, so cute inside, bright, AND THE FOOD?!? Absolutely delicious! AND A DRIVE THRU OPTION?! The service is so great as well. The manager was walking around and asking how the food is, such a sweet guy! I totally forgot to take a photo of the food, but I had: Chips and guac :10/10 Street corn: 8.5/10... only because the corn isn't roasted which is my preferred method. Quesabirria taco: 10/10. Perfect in every way. Coconut shrimp taco : 10/10 Steak Korean taco : UNREAL. 1000/10 ”
“ This is the new location (second one) for Cucho's and is located in the former Pizza Hut building on Butler Road in Mauldin. It is set quite far back off the road in between Cook Out and the Waffle House, so you need to be on the lookout for it. The method is to order and pay at the counter, receive your drink and a number placard for the table and they bring the food to you. Options are street tacos (pastor, asada, pollo, chorizo, birria) with cilantro & onion and fancy tacos with themes, e.g. Steak Korean Tako (steak marinated in Asian sauces, grilled, served with shredded cabbage slaw and chipotle sauce). Or the Grilled Chicken Taco (grilled chicken, lettuce, jack and cheddar cheeses, pico and spicy lime ranch. I had these two that are described. There is a salsa bar with a variety of salsa available - salsa verde, chipotle, dragon hot, creamy lime, etc. The menu also has burrito's, quesadillas, salads, bowls and even a cheeseburger. There are a lot of tables and this is a spacious restaurant. The taco's were enough for me for lunch, having two, they were messy and full of toppings. With just the two, my bill was just under $9. Many people review these as the best tacos in Greenville. This was my first visit. I would compare them more to a Willie Taco or Tipsy Taco than to a more classic such as 4 Tacos Locos (my fav.) or Mextizo (my second fav.). It is just not what I am looking for in a taco. I will try this again since it is close to work, quick, inexpensive and it is good, just not as traditional as I wanted. Their street tacos will be tried on my next visit. ”
